Are you worried that elaborate, MC Escher-inspired paw print tattoo you've been wanting on your chest might not look so hot when you're 90? Well, we've found the perfect solution! Get the tattoo you want-on someone else! That's right, on February 8th, the San Francisco SPCA is holding its second annual "Be Mine" Valentine's Day weekend event and are offering up two brave volunteer bodies in their tattoo auction. The highest bidder for each gets to choose a tattoo to adorn SF SPCA employees Laura Gretch or Daniel Quagliozzi's (somewhat nervous?) bodies! Bids are being taken through eBay. Just click on their names to see where the current bidding is at: Laura Gretch and Daniel Quagliozzi. All the money raised goes to the San Francisco SPCA.

In addition to the inking fun, there will be plenty of other festivities happening Feb 8 – 10. Highlights include a cocktail party on February 8 with an open bar and $40 tattoos from artists such as DannyBoy Smith of San Francisco's Let It Bleed Tattoo Parlor fame. On February 9, three free informative workshops are on offer, from "Trouble in Paradise? Learn how to read body language for a better relationship (with your pets)" to finding a forever pet-match. Other highlights include a Foster Care bake sale, a Smooch the Pooch kissing booth, and prize wheel. Plus, have your cat spayed or neutered for FREE now through February 28 and receive a free microchip. Best of all, all adoption fees will be waived all weekend long for animals from the SF SPCA, SF Animal Care & Control, Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, and Family Dog Rescue, making this the perfect weekend to find the four-legged love of your life.
