Our daughter ran over him on the way home from work one day ( he was not hurt ) and he came right to her. He was abandoned on a stretch of road. He took to me instantly. He laid with me every day , slept with me. He taught himself to fetch a ball and we would play until he told me he was done. He would greet me at the door when getting home. He was my brother, my son until the last beat of his heart last July 11th. 8 days before his 15th birthday. My soul friend. I saved her from a Michigan snow storm last week, and took her to a vet. Her first night home, all she wanted was food and love. She entertains me on a daily basis and she plays with my two huge German Shepherds. I think she thinks she’s a dog. I’ve tried to stop her drowning mice but if her water bowl is empty she will find the dogs water bowl and even sometimes the toilet. He likes to cuddle next to me every night and early mornings. Sometimes when he wants me to wake up he will softly bump my head in the morning. He doesn’t like strangers and he will warm up meeting with new people. The lady at the rescue described him as "living his best life". The lady who found him described him as "crackers". He is super friendly, super affectionate and loaded with deviousness.Leave a Comment Lady Sybil is a rescue who quickly bonded with her doting soulmate, Mr. Darcy. She’s the least graceful cat in the world, a poor jumper, and built like a little bowling ball, but non of this stops her from zooming about like a Tasmanian devil in the wee hours of the morning. She has a fondness for chewing plastic and must be closely monitored.
