A Cat is a Cat is A Cat….

Have you ever watched your house cat jump in a box or go crazy chasing a laser pointer or drool over catnip and wondered if big cats like lions, tigers and jaguars have similar reactions?  Well wonder no more!
Big Cat Rescue is one of the world’s largest accredited sanctuaries for exotic cats and we can affirm that even tigers, the largest of all exotic cats, behave just like little cats in lots of ways. We’ve been the permanent home for more than 200 abandoned or neglected exotic cats at our sanctuary in Tampa, Florida and (once the cats realize they are save and loved) have seen just about every cute antic imaginable! As we always say, “a cat is a cat is a cat!”

Just like house cats, big cats sleep up to 20 hours a day, are more active at night, continually sharpen their claws, groom themselves every day and have the same rough tongues. How else are they similar? Check out our video — It’s narrated by Cole & Marmalade’s owner Chris Poole! Watch and laugh and nod your head as you see our big guys acting just like your own little guys! BigCatRescue.org/mc
