A cat was rescued from underneath a ferry in Sweden on February 21, 2014 when Stellan Stenberg, an employee on the ferry, heard strange noises coming from below the boat. He found a cat who had made it to water jet propulsion area of the boat, right above the water line. His coworker, Johan Skarkarl, put on a wet suit and swam over to the kitty. He safely returned the cat to dry land without getting it wet. Luckily, the ferry only operates in the summer, so there was little risk of the cat getting swept out to sea, but the rescue is none-the-less amazing and heartwarming.
