When I’m at work, my cat often takes advantage of the quiet house to nap on my bed. This allows him to get the rest he needs to skitter around the house all night hunting. I’ve taken to leaving glow-in-the-dark toys out, like these soft cat balls.  They make no noise, and provide an acceptable hunting opportunity for him as he indulges his natural instincts, leaving me, his hard-working human, to get the beauty sleep I need.
