In honor of Adopt a Shelter Cat Month (June), St. Martin’s Press and Bob the Cat, star of the New York Times bestselling memoir, A Street Cat Named Bob, and its sequel The World According to Bob, are hoping to help shelter cats find new homes.  They have established “Bob’s Buds Day”, which is June 21.  On “Bob’s Buds Day” several shelters across the country will hold a cat adoption fee-free day, sponsored by St. Martin’s Press.  Those who adopt a cat will also receive a copy of both of Bob’s books.

Bob the Cat was once a stray but found a great home with author James Bowen.  He hopes all his Buds in these shelters will also find forever homes!
