Cats with Jobs: Ernie the Library Cat

Meet Ernie! Bealeton Library's resident cat and office manager. He was rescued from outside the library and now he takes care of various library tasks and makes sure that everything is running smoothly. Keeping librarians in check is a tough job, but Ernie is up to the task. Ernie is a polydactyl cat (having 6 toes on each foot) and was named after Ernest Hemingway who famously had a fondness for polydactyl cats. He spends his day making sure that business is taken care of, and that no seat goes unwarmed.
