Meet Scooter, who has just been named ASPCA Cat of the Year.  Scooter was found on the streets, unable to move his back legs.  Rushed to Harts Run Veterinary Hospital in Fox Chapel, PA, Scooter was treated by Dr Betsy Kennon, who saved his life.  Visitors to the hospital contributed funds to purchase Scooter’s custom-made mobility device, and Scooter started his new life as a therapy animal. Each week, Scooter visits a nursing home and a rehabilitation hospital, providing encouragement and cuddles to those struggling with mobility issues.
