Meet Pirate
Pirate was a stray for ten years and my daughter (who is 21 and lives with severe anxiety) started working with him when we moved here a year ago. Her original goal was to get him to trust people enough to get him a forever home but when her therapist suggested a therapy cat for her, Pirate became her therapy cat. Pirate has FIV and can't but outside anymore but he still helps Ivy with the other strays. He alerts her when they are waiting outside or when there is a catfight.
