Meet Sonnet
There is something very striking about Sonnet’s eyes. The six-month-old kitten is living with Persistent Pupillary Membrane (PPM), a congenital ocular development defect that is typically not harmful, requires no treatment and typically resolves by six weeks of age. However, Sonnet is now six months old meaning that her eyes will likely remain that way throughout her life. It does appear that Sonnet has limited vision in her left eye, but no discomfort.
