Riley came into my life a day late. When I went to pick him up as a kitten from a farm he had escaped their garage to roam in the woods and I had to schedule another day to come back for him. That should have been the first indication of what I signed up for. Riley was the king of the castle wherever he was. I miss him so badly and I don’t know when it will ever stop hurting but I’ll never forget the way he ruled his house, my heart, and did whatever the hell he wanted. I love you, little boy.
