My partner and I adopted Vinny from a shelter in Medford, OR while we were still in college. We made the 5 hour drive to Lake Oswego, OR with him and have been living together for the last 4 years. Vinny brings us joy every single day. We are constantly reminded of what it means to love unconditionally. He is truly the perfect cat. We seriously couldn't have asked for a better one.
Maisie is a loveable and independent girl with a playful and stubborn streak. Her personality shines in everything she does. When she wants attention she either causes trouble or rolls around and purposely acts cute and she will chatter with you when you talk to her. She is an fip survivor and I believe her ordeal made her stronger and more independent. She loves nuzzling this specific blanket and has done it from the first day we had her.
Mr. Twinkie is a fun loving Tuxedo cat. He is 1 year old and acts like he is ruler of the world. Mr. Twinkie is demanding since he rules the world. He will meow at different intervals during the day if his bowl is showing signs of emptiness. Since he rules he also believes that he must be carried when he feels like he needs to see and check for bugs on the windows or ceilings. Mr Twinkie is a merciful ruler and only leaves his precious scratch marks or bite marks when he sees fit.
Hi! My name is Eli, but my mom calls me Kitten. I’m an American bobtail, I have black & grey stripes and am about a year old. I’m her favorite little turd but don’t tell my siblings. My sister & littermate (who’s also a bobtail) came with me to mom & dads. I love them so much, every time they come home I like to show it by clawing the couch. I also like to terrorize my 8 year old big brother. He’s a bobtail too! He likes to play with me even though I’m just as big as him! I’m one lucky kitten!
Ciri is a very sweet, loving cat. She's social and loves greeting guests, she's gentle with kids, she loves being scratched behind the ears, and she'll look for the sunniest spots in the house. A couple of years ago she lost her sister and went into a deep depression but has made friends with our other cats so now she's happy. She gets very happy whenever she's called pretty.
We found Spike exhausted and abandoned in a tree. He was a very rambunctious kitten who grew to be a pigeon toed, 14 lb. gentle giant. He was diagnosed with asthma last year and uses an inhaler everyday. He demands butt scratches with his raspy meow. He's an aggressive cuddler. He has the sweetest most endearing personality. He gently cares for his toys and is very affectionate. He's goofy and not very graceful. He doesn't know his own strength because he still thinks he's just a baby!
Leo was rescued from a work zone and covered in tar. He was syringe fed when I first rescued him because he wasn’t eating. He is now thriving and absolutely loves all of his “siblings” who often groom him and take care of him. He is a true cat’s cat. He has a unique purr that you can hear from a mile away … and he is always purring! He’s super smart and has learned how to turn on his own electric toys! He’s also super curious and into everything!
Salvador was found as a baby hiding under a shed in my neighbors back yard . When he came out I grabbed him and took him inside where he would be safe. There were predatory birds in the area at that time .I named him Salvador after Salvador Dali because he has the iconic white Salvador Dali mustache. He has a friendly disposition and always looks forward to getting his belly rubbed on any occasion!
Skyler was on our computer table when I noticed he was looking for someone to play with. So I got underneath with my camera and he started batting at me and the camera....that's why his paw looks so close to the camera....He loved to play.
Mindy was found in my front yard eating some food I left out for my indoor-outdoor cats. She kept coming back then one day I picked her up and brought her indoors . She adapted well and so she is now another cat that is an indoor-outdoor cat. She has these very human traits and has a personality all her own ( see picture)
Felix came to us when he was abandoned and in a terrible state.
We adopted him and he is now a wonderful and truly loving cat and always comes for cuddles. He enjoys playing with Cookie and Jesse very much and is now part of our family.
Jesse is black and white and 7 years old. He is so laid back and cute and loves a brush and massage!
Enjoys chasing his other 'brothers' cookie and Felix
He is an FIP Warrior and Survivor after 5 months battle with disease. He was dumped on side of road at one month of age and we rescued each other. Now he's Mommas boy
Cookie is a lovely ginger cat. He is so adorable and loving and is a very caring cat. He looks out for his younger 'brother' who we adopted from cats protection, who is also so adorable too!
Cash is a hilarious two year old bengal, he absolutely loves being the center of attention. He loves to play and loves catnip. He makes very funny faces if he eats something he doesn't like or if his lickable treat runs out!
She was a feral living on the streets of Sebastopol and was not doing well. We started feeding her and then gave her a heated shelter. And when we had to move we trapped her and brought her with us. She is now the happiest, most playful, and loving house cat ever! She is a beautiful tortoise shell and has “Tortitude”. She is such a fun and playful girl! She has tought her very shy sister how to play tag and they love it! She is an amazing cat and I am so happy she found us! We are in love!
Butters is definitely a mama’s boy. When I get home and sit down, he’s right on the arm of the chair next to me. He’ll just stare at me until I start to pet him. He’s our gently big boy!!
Where's the kitty?!? Journey is a very pretty kitty but a diva. She likes pets but only on her own terms. If she doesn't want to be bothered she hides from us. Here is one of her tactics for hiding from us: blending in with the background. We do love her and her personality and wouldn't want her any other way.
