Ellie is just the sweetest little thing in the whole world. We adopted her along with her sister, Codie, from the NYC ASPCA. She was born with only one eye, but we don't even notice, especially when she looks like she is smiling all time. She loves our home here in Seattle. Ellie and Codie are turning 3 this month.
Wally’s previous owners gave him up for apparently having “potty issues”; which he’s had none since he left their care, neither at the shelter or here with us. So it was either an excuse, poor upkeep of his litter box, or his way of crying out for attention since he had lived with cats and dogs and children. We’re not sure how long he had been at the shelter before we adopted him; we had no idea he was even there to be honest. He was living in a colony at the Dum
My Sonny was under my porch the night before Hurricane Sandy hit our area. I took him in and he was fed, warm and comfortable, watching the storm through my sons bedroom window. We were very Thankful that we only lost power for a few days, and part of our fence.
He has no from claws and has been neutered, so he must have been someones pet. I put up flyers and called local animal shelters, but no one ever claimed him.
He has adjusted very well here and doesn't mind his new b
I lost my first cat to heart disease in January 2012. After months of mending a broken heart, I went to the Toledo Animal Shelter to inquire about volunteering. There I met Wilbur. At the time she was 4 months old and a little spit fire. He helped heal my heart and we had an instant connection. He quickly became such an important part of my family.
Markie was at a local shelter. I brought my daughter and her family to see the cats. Markie ended up jumping on my grandsons shoulder and sucking on his ear. That\'s all it took. He was adopted.
This is Tiger Lily and one of her two newborn kittens. We feel privileged to foster for a wonderful organization called Abandoned Cat's Rescue. Tiger Lily was either a stray or an abandoned cat and was taken care of lovingly by a kind woman who discovered that she was expecting. Wanting her and her kittens to be safe, she reached out to ACR. Unfortunately due to her own situation she could not take her in. Tiger Lily is a very sweet girl and a wonderful momma.
I adopted Steven almost 3 months ago. He has been such a rambunctious kitten. He has the best personality and just had a certain spunk about him. He has almost 15000 followers on Instagram!! He isn't scared of absolutely anything. He chases the vacuum and attacks the hair dryer. Everyone loves Steven and he was a great addition to my little family.
My parents were both feral and my mama took them in. I was born shortly after. My parents are now spayed and neutered. I go on adventures with my family
This little one is Leopold, our 7 month old British Longhair. He was born in England but now lives in Belgium with his shorthair brother and love playing and especially eating! He is a real fluffy cat with pretty short paws, so he tries to make big jumps but usually fails. If there is something he adores, it's getting belly rubs. He is so sweet, and a purrmachine at that.
Vasya is complex...he's super affectionate and loves to cuddle, but also can be the crazy, bouncing off the walls sneak attack artist. He loves treats and belly scratches. He is always waiting by the door when I return from work and will wind himself around my legs until he gets the attention he seeks. Vasya also loves his older "brother", DJ a Lhasa Apso. They will spend hours chasing each other around the house. Wherever Vasya goes he gets tons of attention and he just soaks i
Hobbes is Calvin\'s twin brother. Calvin came to me because he had seizures and needed a caretaker. When I returned to the shelter and saw his brother was still there my wife said \"Go get him.\" They were inseparable. Their bond had never weakened. Then in November of 2018 we lost Calvin. Hobbes misses his brother. It\'s easy to see. But he is still a very loving and affectionate little man.
Panda is my best friend! Let me tell you he follows me around and wants to hang out with me. No matter if I am working at my desk, on the computer, in the bathroom, in bed, ect. Panda is a young energetic 11 year old Maine coon. He was a rescue kitty and we been buds the past 10+ years. Panda "the cat" enjoys feeding time, fresh water with ice cubes, he likes to attack string toys, and he seems to not mind my snoring. Bottom line is Panda is a great companion!
Jaguar was found outside the door to our condo on October 16, 2012, yowling her little kitten heart out. When we took her to the vet we learned she was approximately 6 months old at that time. She loves Mike and tolerates me but she is full of personality.
Willa was adopted in June 2016 from Tinykittens, a fabulous rescue based in Fort Langley, BC that does amazing work with feral cats and kittens in the community. Willa was born to a feral mom in Tinykittens' care and thanks to them, she has a life of love and pampering. We will forever be grateful to them. She is a goofy, loving cat with a huge personality and who literally loves to smile for the camera.
