Twiggy was a starving street kitten when I met her in Phnom Penh, unpleasant to pet because you could feel every single bone. She curled up in a friend's motorcycle helmet and I insisted that the last thing I needed was a cat.
I went back the next morning and brought her home.
I planned to get her healthy and give her to a good family. When I discovered that she had taught herself to use the toilet after seeing a man pee once, I knew she was a keeper.
