I meet Maude while working at a no-kill cat shelter in Eugene, OR. She would climb in my lap when I cleaned up after the kitties. She was the last of her siblings and I brought her home. Maude came with me across the country to Chicago when I moved five years ago. She acts like a dog and comes when she's called. Maude is a tortie-point siamese.
Maudies, little one, maudeline.
Cheek scratches, cuddling, any pile of papers.
Not having access to certain areas of the house, dogs in her way, inconveniences.
Raw Primal turkey and quail formulas, Weruva wet foods, freeze-dried chicken necks.
Watching birds and critters out the window, jumping into empty boxes and shopping bags.
