Collar got his name because when he came to the feral colony we care for he had a collar embedded in his neck. Removing it left a white collar on his shiny black fur. It took months to grow back & for him to fully trust us. He has conquered much in his 10+years with us including an FIV diagnosis, stomatitis & full mouth extraction & most recently eye removal surgery due to severe ulcerations. Through it all he's remained happy, purring & filled with love.
