CatConLA releases official schedule and special guests, actors Mayim Bialik and Jack McBrayer

CatConLA (catconla.com), presented by Rachael Ray Nutrish, released their official schedule for June 2015, as well as announcing actress Mayim Bialik of CBS’s “The Big Bang Theory” participation on behalf of PetSmart Charities, and Jack McBrayer of  Adult Swim’s “The Jack and Triumph Show” who will sit opposite Lil BUB in the seminar,  Lil BUB’s Big Show Live at CatConLA.

On June 6th and 7th, 2015 at The Reef in Downtown Los Angeles, CatConLA will debut with seminars, meet and greets and special appearances with some of the biggest names in the cat world, including Simon Tofield, creator of “Simon’s Cat,” and Lil BUB. In addition, 100 exhibitors will showcase their cat-centric wares, all of which will be for sale to the public. Adoptions will also be part of the program, spearheaded by Best Friends LA and housed in a specially themed adoption area courtesy of Rachael Ray Nutrish called “Rachael Ray Nutrish Furever Home.”

The event boasts some of the biggest names in pop culture, entertainment and felines; the seminars – which will be live streamed by Animal Planet – is as follows:

Comedian Jack McBrayer is best known for his role as NBC page Kenneth Parcell on “30 Rock.” He currently stars in “The Jack and Triumph Show” opposite Triumph the Insult Dog. While at CatCon, Jack will sit down for a frank and hilarious conversation with Lil BUB on a late night television show set to talk about life, Hollywood, and space.

Actress Mayim Bialik will introduce the lecture, “Goodbye Dowdy, Hello Gorgeous! Debunking the Cat Lady Myth,” and discuss why she is working with PetSmart Charities to change stereotypes of cat people, as well her personal experience with her feline friends and the importance of adoption. In addition she will do a special Meet and Greet in the PetSmart Charities Lounge on Saturday, at 1PM.

$1 of every ticket sale for CatConLA will benefit FixNation, a non-profit organization committed to cats, and to supporting Trap-Neuter-Return; in addition, 50% of the proceeds from Lil BUB’s Big Meet and Greet and the Pudge/Cats of Instagram Meet and Greet go to FixNation.
