Meet Max

Max never had it easy. He was born in the wild and was supposed to be a barn cat after his vetting. But my nephew Doug took a liking to him, and Max calmed down and was an indoor/outdoor cat. Unfortunately, Max ended up with a prolapsed rectum. I am not going into the details, but 5 surgeries later it was finally repaired properly. He went with a different foster for reasons unknown, but when they could no longer foster him, he came back here. We lost him to leukemia last week.
