Here’s how it works: Your cat enters the Litter-Robot and does his little business. A weight-dependent sensor detects when your cat exits the unit and begins a timer. During the 7-minute countdown, clumping litter is allowed time to set up, and then the globe begins to rotate. As it slowly spins, clumps are sifted from the clean litter, and dropped into a drawer below. The globe returns to the home position, leaving a clean, flat bed of recycled litter ready for the next use!

You see what I mean? At no point did I describe bending over, scraping foul-smelling clods of kitty waste off the walls of a moldy litter box. Nope! All you have to do is empty the waste drawer once per week. When the light indicates, pull out the waste drawer liner and set in a new one.
