The Montreal SPCA in collaboration with the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies (CFHS) and the Centre Vétérinaire Laval/Centre Vétérinaire Rive-Sud, are proud to present the third edition of the GRIFF, the Just for Cats Video Festival, taking place on Saturday, August 27, at the Molson Park in Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie. Montrealers, of all ages, are invited to a feline, festive and family day culminating with a 50-minute screening of the best cat videos posted on YouTube.

Known for his colorful personality, the spokesperson for this edition of the #GRIFF is Karl Hardy, host of the nightlife quiz game “L'Instant Gagnant” on V. Blogger for enVedette.ca and VRAK, he is followed by over 25,000 social media users. On August 27th, Karl will be present on site to meet the public and share with them his love for these little felines. This year, you will also have the chance to enjoy an outdoor jazz concert by Bebop Bettie Jazz Duet!

Starting at 3:00 pm, this out-of-the-ordinary festive family event will offer an array of activities, including face painting, a variety of booths, games, popcorn and cotton-candy, music, door prizes, and much more. The concert will start around 7:00 pm, and the screenings around 7:30 pm. “You’ll discover – or re-discover – Grumpy Cat, Henri Le Chat Noir, Lil Bub and more in short films that celebrate the goofy nature of our furry friends!” says Benoit Tremblay, Executive Director at the Montreal SPCA. “Come laugh together while watching your favorite videos of these funny felines on the big screen”.
