Pudding had just arrived at his forever home shortly before he was called to save a life. Amy Jung had made a spur-of-the-moment decision to adopt Pudding after she and her son Ethan had visited the Door County Humane Society to visit the cats.  After going to bed that night, Amy had a diabetic seizure that left her paralysed and unable to move.  Pudding, who had jumped up on the bed, began swatting her until she woke up. Pudding then roused Ethan, who called emergency services and was able to give his mother a life-saving injection. Pudding’s story won the Purina Pro Plan’s Tales of Greatness contest, which means the Door County Humane Society will receive $5,000 worth of food to help their needy animals.
