Meet Oliver

We adopted Oliver as a 14-year old disabled stray from the streets of the Bronx in January and he made the long journey to northern Maine where he filled our hearts and home with love and joy. This picture was taken less than 2 weeks after bringing him home. He adopted us just as we adopted him. To some he may have been considered “less adoptable” but to us he was just purrfect. He was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and aggressive cancer in his blood vessels and although we traveled to find him the best veterinary care, he went to the Rainbow Bridge shortly after surgery last month. We miss him every second of every day, but we are grateful for the time we had with him and we are fortunate to have shared his story with so many people.
