What Happens When A Cat Learns How To Turn On A Faucet? $5,000 In Damages!
Clever cat wreaks havoc at the Florida Humane Society
As the old adage goes, curiosity killed the cat. Luckily in this case no cat died, but there sure was a lot of damage! One of the Florida Humane Society‘s shelter cats turned on a tap and left it running for 17 hours—the result was four inches of water and $5,000 in damages. That’s a big price to pay for a cat’s curiosity. The shelter hasn’t laid the blame on one cat yet, but suspect a younger female cat, who loves spending time in sinks, as the likely culprit.
The shelter is now gratefully accepting donations via their website, or by phone at 954-974-6152.
