Basil is FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) positive which means his immune systems is weak and it's harder to fight off infections. That's not to say he can't live a long health life. He has been inside for 4 years and hasn't had a heath concern yet. (knock on wood) He lives together with 2 Negative cats. Basil is a gentle soul, so I'm not worried about him transmitting FIV.
