Meet Penelope

Penelope entered our lives through the side door of the band room at the high school where I teach. She was about 12 weeks old at the time. One of my students, knowing that I adore animals, scooped her up and brought her to my class. She is still with us. The brightest of our cat herd, she plays fetch and opens doors. She is seen in the above photo affecting a roar .... or perhaps a yawn!
